You will receive this 4 piece cooking essentials kit to make your own homemade Ethiopian Injera. The kit includes the Irsho, 16-oz of Ivory Teff Flour, and 16-oz of Brown Teff Flour, and the instructional guide to making the perfect Injera.
This Kit comes with Irsho, a life organism that is the Mother dough to start fermentation of the teff flour to make injera. Injera is made from an ancient whole grain teff flour which is fermented and is a staple meal in Ethiopia. Injera has a delightful sourdough flavor. Vegetable and meat dishes are served on top of the injera, and the food is eaten with your hand, using the injera to scoop up the dishes.
We ship only to the continental United States and ship with 2 day shipping as the Irsho has a shelf life of only 5 days before it needs to be “feed.” Inorder to keep your Irsho from dying we ship weekly on Tuesdays to ensure deliveries are completed in a timely fashion.
